Athens, 22-26 October 2018

The first ever digital media & translation bootcamp for translation professionals

The first Digital Media and Translation Bootcamp is devoted to the broader role that you, translators, are asked to play managing more of the content assets for your digitising clients and for yourselves! There is no point in quibbling about how many pennies to charge per word and there is no pointing in reminiscing about the times past. Now is the time to reinvent yourself, to re-think your business and to specialise in bigger content issues tied to the digital transformation of your clients’ businesses. Or else, now is the time to move away from translation-centric services to offer content-centric services instead!

The digital transformation is a big mission in itself, but it becomes even more challenging with the global content and international operations. Doing business in multiple locales means that companies have to adapt core business functions for those markets, together with the materials, supply chains, support functions, transactions and all content that supports them. Your role is key in this digital transformation; you are the ones to offer strategic support for global content management, marketing communications, digital social media, customer care, and the general customer experience.

In the Digital Media and Translation Bootcamp you will learn how to do just that, and in the process learn how to achieve your digital transformation and growth hacking as well!
